About the Victoria Theater

The Victoria Theater, which first opened its doors in 1904, is West Virginia's oldest operational theater. The Victoria is a 750-seat Victorian style theater with strong Beaux-Arts design influences, located in the city of Wheeling's listed historic market district. In 1934, the Victoria Theater served, for a short period, as home to the WWVA Jamboree (later renamed "Jamboree USA"), the second longest running radio program in the U.S.
